+1 for links that seem to be still relevant

-1 for general progress towards its ultimate purpose "to cease to exist" [1]

A blog post and tweet would also be nice:)

That goal of ceasing to exist is the primary driving force behind Cordova, and something I feel very very strongly about. It's why we should be encouraging people to adopt web-compatible APIs where available instead of plugins, and why our plugins should be acting as polyfills.

The eventual hope should be that any Cordova app is also a few small steps away from being deployable as a Progressive Web App, and that we can deprecate all the plugins and platforms because the web will have finally closed the "gap" that PhoneGap was meant to bridge.
