Instance launched on proxmox host is losing network connectivity
problem
The instance launched on proxmox host is losing network connectivity
versions
ACS 4.21
The steps to reproduce the bug
Steps to reproduce the issue
- Launch a vm in proxmox via cloudstack extension
- The vm gets a ip from cloudstack vrouter
- Stop the vm
- Vr goes into shutdown in Cloudstack
- Start the vm frm clodustack
- The virtual router starts but vm doesn't get a IP address assigned
What to do about it?
The vm should get a ip address assigned when the vr is rebooted
@kiranchavala can you configure the IP inside the vm, and ping the VR ?
Is your cluster proxmox only cluster? Cause mine doesn't even build a Vrouter vm, and due to that my proxmox instances dont even get created. Any pointers would be great
@Bharat-B I encountered something similar to that in https://github.com/apache/cloudstack/discussions/12273
