[REQ] Change the logo back to the old version?
Ask Apple to support multiple icons
Apple added the option to include and chose different icons in an application for iOS. This API is not available for macOS at the moment of 12.0 Monterey. Please ask Apple to add this option in macOS so developers can implement multiple icons:

The old logo is cute, but the new icon looks a bit ugly.
Please change back to the original round logo, the square logo experience is not good. please, please, please. Many people comment on it on other websites the same as mine. I specifically registered the id of github for this. please, please, please
I also don't care for the new square icon, it just looks too force/awkward.
But, we don't need to wait or ask for anything to be done because we can solve the problem ourselves!
Here's the workaround solution that I use, cc @Nortonryan1945 @l782993610
- Download this copy of the previous icon Keka.icns.zip and extract it
- In Finder, select Keka.app and choose File > Get Into (Cmd+I)
- Drag the .icns file onto the icon placeholder in the top left of the window
- Wait a moment for the icon to change

You can also disable the icon appearance options in Keka to stop it changing the icon during operation:

It is possible to make a choice of icon options (All icons, for the whole period of existence). Following the example of the "Find Any File" application. And everyone will be happy with the possibility of choice.
@Oleg-Chashko as far as I know this is not possible in a sandboxed application, let me know if you know how to (also let me know what application is this one so I can check).

Updated the main issue with steps to ask Apple to add support for multiple icons and the workaround. Please don't forget to ask Apple, that is the best way to support multiple icons.

No problem at all. I’ll leave it open but locked because I really want Apple to implement the necessary APIs to support multiple icons. Hopefully people reading this issue might give Apple feedback.
