It seems that the feature you're trying to implement isn't supported by this repository. The repository doesn't provide the functionality for profile views icons as you're attempting.
Instead, you can use https://visitcount.itsvg.in/create to create and customize profile view icons. This tool is specifically designed for that purpose and should meet your needs.

We are not providing the profile views counter feature. There is a lot of another repositories which already do that. For example, here is the first link I found in Google by searching "github profile views counter" https://github.com/antonkomarev/github-profile-views-counter
