Import urls into tabli separated by newlines
I use a clipboard app to help me manage bookmarks as it is faster to transfer the urls to the desktop and bookmark it there rather than on the phone. Do you think you could add a feature to tabli so it can import urls separated by newlines from a text file?
I can see why that functionality might be a useful desktop component of the Android clipboard app you linked to. But I don't immediately see how it relates to Tabli...can you explain why you think this should be part of Tabli, and perhaps describe in a bit more detail how you envision this feature working in Tabli and how you would use it?
@antonycourtney I was thinking along the lines of a wizard or a form where you input the different requirements for parsing the input e.g. split by: newlines. comma etc. Excel has something similar and it is really useful for entering unorthodox structured data. The end user could be using all sorts of bookmarking applications and there are many available in the market, not all of them exports data in a common format.
I can see why that functionality would be useful to you, but Tabli's purpose is to help you manage windows and tabs. Seems to me the functionality you describe would make more sense as part of a general purpose bookmark manager. Tabli is not that, at least not yet.
Would you accept a pull request for this?
I would love extra implementation help on Tabli so I am open to pull requests. But additional features need to fit with the overall design and purpose of Tabli, and I'm still not quite convinced that's the case here. Please help me understand: In your proposal, what should Tabli do with the set of URLs it obtains from the clipboard?
Allow users to put them into a folder, open them in new tabs etc.
Happy New Year!
