Option to ignore first highlighted column

Hello. This is a useful mode, thanks! Really what I care about are subsequent indents and not highlighting the first column (since that can be implied just being on the line). It would be nice if I could turn off highlighting for column 0 to make it a little less noisy. Thanks!
