Not working with L4

FIlters have been removed completely in favour of the new middleware? Or am I missing something?

Middlewares does not exists in Laravel 4.2.22, only filters. Is there a way to make this work still with Laravel 4.2.22, or does the filters work out of the box?

The artisan commands are broken too.

I'm running the v1.1.1 release.

Well support for Laravel 4.x has been dropped some time ago. Maybe this package's support for it might have been dropped has well. If someone has a workaround we could submit a PR.
