Abandon package on packagist?
/cc @antishov @stof as now it seems the original package did add the compatibility to Symfony 5. I'm asking myself if there are any difference and if one should marked as abandon.
I'm wondering the same thing. I was very appreciative of this bundle while the Stof one didn't support Sf5. Could you work together to maintain just one?
Thanks!
Hi I don't see any reasons to abandone this fork now Yesterday it helped with Symfony 5 support, tomorrow it will help with PHP 8 support
Why not doing the PR on the original repository instead @antishov ?
And if you're an active contributor of this package, maybe @stof could give you some rights. One repository is better than two.
Like this? The original repo had a lot of great motivated contributors who can maintain the package. Although they aren't contributors yet
@stof could you please reply? This great package deserves more attention and if you're not able to maintain it, please accept support from the community.
@weaverryan is now co-maintainer of the original bundle to help
Thanks for the bundle @antishov, it helped me at the time and I used it in many projects. But maybe it's time to get back to the original one if there are more active maintainers now. 🙂 I saw that for example, Symfony 6 and PHP 8.1 support was available.
