[Bug] UI Freezing on Linux Environments with Claude Code 2.0.0/2.0.1

Bug Description When running claude-code 2.0.0 or 2.0.1 in Emacs or a shell on Linux, the UI kept freezing. It makes it completely unusable.

Environment Info

• Platform: linux
• Terminal: konsole
• Version: 2.0.0 and 2.0.1

It freezes. No CTRL+C or anything.

I have the same issue on windows versions 2.0.2 completely freezes.

Try updating it, it worked for me. npm update -g @anthropic-ai/claude-code (even though I was on the latest already)

not fixed. persists in versions 2.0.32-2.0.36. i am wondering how it manages to hardfreeze so that even CTRL-z is also not working

and slow-down (especiallly in plan-on mode) is still happening. One can experience the slow-down/latency by typing, this slow-down preceeds the full freezing
