Bug Description

The UI loves to flash and causes the tism to flare up - please make this stop, you'll give someone a seizure

Steps to Reproduce

1. use Claude Code
2. Resize window once maybe
3. CONSTANT FLASHIES

Expected Behavior

The thing should just reformat, or NOT, it doesn't need magic terminal formatting logic - one can simply turn on or off word wrap as a terminal option

Yes, and it would also be great if the textbox acted like a textbox, not some delicate buggy problematic input that slows down incrementally more at each entered character, ending up needing seconds to erase characters when we use backspace.

This is spectacularly annoying. As apart of this behavior, its also constantly resetting the scroll bar to the top of the console session which - in very long sessions - is incredibly frustrating.
