Terminal Flickering and State Reset in iTerm2 on macOS After Plan Approval
Bug Description There's a significant UI glitch in iTerm2 on macOS. This is a more specific issue. After I approve a plan, especially when it seems to involve a Task or Subagent, the entire terminal session starts to flicker erratically. After the flickering stops, the session's state reverts to what it was before the plan was even presented, and I see Claude starting to think about creating a plan all over again.

same problem here.
This is surely related to claude code cli becaure many people report this problem on WSL2, or every other terminal that mac has and even Wrap.
This is making claude code unusable for me. It now makes sense why it seems like claude code keeps "re-planning". This needs to be addressed. Has the anthropic team even acknowledged this issue? I am using wsl2 arch linux.
I've had it flickers so bad it crashes my Mac. It get's worse the longer the parent context lifespan and chat history as gone. The scroll bar gets stuck to the top. The only way to get it to stop flicker is to use Ctrl+R to switch to the expanded view, which does not get real time feedback like the normal command view.
This never got resolved months on and its' worse then ever
This is one of the most annoying bugs as its completely removes our ability to see what is happening with the agents. Has anyone here found any resolution to this? It seems particularly bad when a sub-agent is running. It is like it is flickering between the sub-agent info and the main agent info.
Still happening for me as well.
