fyi. I'm using MCP on ubuntu 24.04 and it works, but what I'm doing is so totally different from what you posted that I have not clue. I just have a program that reads/writes json to stdio and I plug it in with claude mcp add /some/where/stdio_example and it works, I spent some quality time figuring out what it wanted to read and write, but it works now. Keep trying. The anthropic guys seem to have a flood of issues here so you might be on your own :-(
