can't reference folders and files starting with `.` , e.g., `.claude`
running on macOS 15.5 in Ghostty. latest claude code version.
I am able to reference with @ just fine most of the files in repo. however, files located in .claude or any other folder starting with . are not being picked up by @ command.
is that a bug or by design?
^ I am also requesting this
Same. Autocomplete doesn't recognize the .github folder so Claude can modify github actions BUT if I write out the reference, it can access the files and modify them as requested. This is definitely a bug - either the files should be hidden from referencing AND hidden from access by Claude or they should be accessible and referenceable.
I'm having the same issue. It does not find the file when using @, but the agent works when writing the relative path or the reference.
