Feature request: Add dropdown in VS Code Claude Code integration toolbar button to select start mode

As of now, in VS Code integration there is button to Run Claude Code that will open new split terminal and launches claude code, but as new instance. Would be nice if there would be small dropdown with options like new/continue/resume (same as via CLI -- variants).

I have been trying to find if there is some kind of configuration for this, but couldnt find anything.

Yes please - I always use Claude Code from a terminal pane because I can ask it to continue from there, while activating it with the extension(Cmd-Esc) means it'll start clean. A command to load the previous conversation(or switch conversations) from inside the CLI would also be welcome. I'm sure there's an issue for that too.
