.mcp.json file is not being loaded

Everything was working fine until the update yesterday no matter what I do .mcp.json file is not being read or map servers are not being added no error on the json file it is properly set.

Ditto. It's being written to however. This is on macOS

Same issue closed here but then a couple of hours later, it all resolved itself.

Maybe something to do with being too close to session token limit?
