[BUG] Typing into the Claude Code primary input area, the tool freezes, stops accepting input arbitrarily, until it unfreezes

What's Wrong?

I launch Claude Code and I start typing. At some point, probably have typed 11 lines of text, text input freezes and I must go and open a @#$%^& bug report. Let me check again. ... Ok it's working now. It was frozen for >30 seconds (this time). This has happened a number of times this week, it appears to be new behavior.

What Should Happen?

Typing in the terminal window should not lock the console.
