[BUG] Claude Code Web Github connection goes on infinite loop

What's Wrong?

When I try to connect to the GitHub in Claude Code web it goes in a loop from Claude Code Web->GitHub->Claude Code Web -> GitHub even if all the permissions are given, cache is cleared and in different browsers.

To break the loop, I have to start a Claude Code session in iOS app and then access the Claude Code Web in the browser.

What Should Happen?

Claude Code Web GitHub connection should work without infinite loop.

Also came here for this same issue. I pulled it up on an Android device on Chrome but it showed the same onboarding screen. I refreshed and it disappeared and it now also works on my desktop browser.

@hwells4 Like I mentioned in the OP, using the iOS app to make the GitHub connection worked then and I didn't have the need to connect again with GitHub.

UPDATE: going to Settings -> Connectors -> Disconnect Github. Then on Github uninstall Claude Github App and reovking oauth access. Then once you connect the account again it works for me without the redirect loop.
