"Delete all bookmarks" does not delete any bookmarks

On a fresh install of 5.0.2, I click the "Delete all bookmarks" option (found inside "Bookmark Settings"). But all the (initial) bookmarks are still there. I would expect there to be no bookmarks left after clicking this button.
