Where does this plugin look/change?

Since the documentation is pretty limited, I'm not sure where this plugin looks for and changes external url's.

I have an Astro project, does it check the dist folder? Or also directly my markdown/astro/svelte files in my src folder?

Any way to configure this?

Would appreciate help a lot! :)
