This started happening for me as well, when I updated `npm` from 8.11.0 to 8.15.0.

Nice, I'm looking forward to it. Several distros are dropping support for Qt5, which would affect this project at version 3.1.4.

Any updates on this? Setup.py states LGPL as the license, but that's not precise enough. See: https://peps.python.org/pep-0639/appendix-mapping-classifiers/ and https://github.com/pypa/trove-classifiers/issues/17#issuecomment-385027197 for possible licenses.

I am currently compiling the affected packages to verify that I didn't break anything. Once that's done, I'll mark it as ready for review :)

Sorry for the inactivity, I just rebased and split the changes into per-package commits as requested. I'm still interested in getting this merged eventually and I'll try helping with updating...
