Add collection to Ansible community distribution

SUMMARY

Hello, just a quick questions. Do you have any plans to add this collection to Ansible unified changelog - that it would be basically installed automatically with Ansible ?

I'm not sure I understand the question. This collection is being included in the Ansible community distribution you get from pypi and it is included in the supported EE for AAP container image.

Sorry for not being clear. What i meant is whether the collection would be included here https://github.com/ansible-community/ansible-build-data/blob/main/7/CHANGELOG-v7.rst and basically gets installed together with Ansible package

Thanks for clarifying. I understand the ask now.

@tima @markatdxb I created a new issue under Ansible Community for the inclusion of this collection https://github.com/ansible-community/ansible-build-data/issues/268. Please feel free to comment and provide additional information.

@tima apparently you can apply here for inclusion If servicenow.itsm really wants to be included, they should apply here ASAP: https://github.com/ansible-collections/ansible-inclusion

There has been no activity on this issue for a while. Further, there are well-understood and practiced mechanisms for getting this content. While many users may indeed use ServiceNow, its usage is not so universal that it clearly makes sense to include in the community distribution. As such, we are not pursuing its inclusion in the community distribution at this time, but may consider doing so in the future if there is more interest and/or a compelling reason to do so.
