SUMMARY

Preferred way of debian/ubuntu distros is to use .d directions to overwrite values. This allows easier upgrades in case of dist file changes.

@D3DeFi and @BGmot what are your thoughts on this? Currently all of the config files we were go directly to the original .conf in /etc. Do we want to change that and instead move them to the .d directory and leave the original .conf as installed by zabbix?

This seems to be a good idea I think. Ideal is to have just some small globally accepted config in .conf and include everything else "customized"

i stumbled over the same issue. Seems there is no way to Include *.conf files in the agent2.d and the agend2.d/plugins.d config.

Something like /etc/zabbix/zabbix-agent2.d/**/*.conf does not work.

Any ideas how to fix this?
