I can only find two modules that operate on datastores, community.vmware.vmware_host_datastore can mount datastores and community.vmware.vmware_datastore_cluster_manager but the latter needs a datastore cluster, which I do not have or want.

I too would like to be able to move a local datastore into a subfolder, so that I can arrange all local datastores in a common set per type of machine/vendor/location, etc.
