hey folks, don't we release version 1 from main? if yes, no backports are needed (i even don't see a normal stable-1 in branches).

It was planed to use stable-1 to prepare breaking changes in the main in the future. I think we should remove stable-1 again and make a new release from main again.
However, I will be away some days and cannot do it before next week.

Alternativley, we make a PR to bring stable-1 back to main?
