Is there any update on this feature? This is the only part of our infrastructure that is not currently managed by Ansible so this would be very useful to us.
Hi @dgiffordaudio, Not at this time.
The bulk of modules in this collection are written and maintained by community members, rather than folks paid to work on Ansible. As such, many of the modules in this collection are written by people who, like you, have a need for a specific service.
While feature requests for pre-existing modules will sometimes cause maintainers to go "yeah that's a good feature" and add it, brand new modules for things like Fleet support will often wait until someone who's familiar with the service has the time and motivation.
If you'd be interested in contributing a module we'd be very happy to have your contribution and work with you to get the module merged.
If you're a Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform customer, then opening RFEs through the Customer Portal is more likely to get the attention of the Cloud Content team's product management and the people who're paid to work on modules.
