setup testing for the extension

Expected Behavior

To have something like cypress or jest that can run automated unit test and also basic e2e test against the extension ideally for any if not all these browsers [chrome, firefox, opera]

Context

This will help automate validation of work by contributors and help contributors catch most if not all bugs during development

Possible Solutions

Suggestions are welcome and kindly implement if possible kindly implement and submit as a PR along with steps outline to the readme file on how to run the test
