Volume Buttons flashlight w/ Android 12

I unfortunately just updated to Android 12, and I can no longer use Torchie's shortcut option. I've tried resetting the apps permissions but it doesn't appear to have fixed anything.

Same, doesn't work for me either on Android 12

On android 12, I have to hit the unlock button first (or touch the screen) to be able to use the volume combo.

Something in Android 12 prevents the current Torchie's functionality, multiple reviews on the Play Store confirming that too. Just got a Pixel 6 Pro, Torchie doesn't the work it used to. I have to wake the screen first now.

I just updated to android 12 on my Pixel 4a 5G. For 3 weeks Torchie worked exactly as before with the volume buttons. Now suddenly it has stopped working. I have reinstalled it, but no joy. It has just decided to not work any more.
