Auto-alignment doesn't account for heights

Open marrub-- opened this issue 6 years ago • 3 comments

When vertically auto-aligning a wall in a mode that supports upper/lower offsets, the aligned upper/lower textures don't account for their actual world offsets, causing alignment errors. This happens both when aligning from an upper/lower texture and when aligning from an impassible wall.

Before pressing shift-A: the alignments on this wall show up fine After pressing shift-A to vertically auto-align: oops

hmm. does this happen in both the regular builder mode and the gzdoom builder mode?

i think i should just merge the codebases of those

Not sure, I haven't actually used the regular visual mode since my maps rely on stuff only the GZDB one has.

hmmm

i think i need to just get on with merging those two sooner rather than later. it's a bit of a mess that they were separated in the first place.
