Describe the enhancement you want to request

The AI does show progress for some tasks, but I can't see any progress when it's handling large files (like reading or creating them). I'm using the DeepSeek v3.2 provided by SiliconFlow. Could it be that because it's through a third-party provider, I can't see DeepSeek's "thinking" process? From what I know, DeepSeek v3.2's "deep reasoning" takes a long time, so what I think is freezing might actually just be it thinking.

i need to look at silicon flow but some providers require us to explicitly send additional fields to get reasoning back
