Claude Max not working

Description

I'm using the inbuilt claude max which I've re-logged in but unfortunately it's not working, I've tried restarting the terminal a few times but it doesn't seem like it's doing anything when I send the message, other models seem to work though but I like Sonnet 4.5 with my subscription

Wait so what models are working for you? And which ones aren't

So I want to use Claude Sonnet 4.5 as this is my main daily driver, I do also have a z.ai subscription for GLM 4.6, I tested this temporarily and this currently works, I've also just tried Claude Opus 4 and that doesn't work either, so I think none of the Claude models might be working, although I have done a full reconnection again to re-generate a claude max api token but that's not fixed it.

Can you use the model in claude code? You are using a claude code plan and even through anthropic oauth you can't use it?

Yes, I've had to temporarily switch to claude code, it works perfectly fine, just missing the speed that opencode has. I also double checked and I don't have any API keys added to my claude account and have PAYG turned off so it's only ever going to be using the subscription.

Hmm you are the only one Ive heard have this problem so I think something is misconfigured...

He's not the only one, I'm currently having the same problem. Calling models from anthropic/ gives NOT FOUND.

the session title gen isnt an issue or shouldnt be, we handle that error gracefully

You can try setting:

small_model in your opencode.json to something else like opencode/big-pickle instead

Same issue here:

  • Without small_model: error above
  • With small_model = haiku: error above
  • With small_model = glm-4.6: seems to loop indefinitely, but its not using anthropic models at all, falls back to glm. see below (tested with both anthropic api key and max subscription)

Was there ever a fix for this? I still get:

TypeError: undefined is not an object (evaluating 'response.headers') as an error a few times and then others it just shows the loading spinner infinitely

If thats the error u get: 1st prolyl update opencode but second u should only need to logout and log back in
