Not working in Android 15. Looks like it can't get access to the Google Account.
Pixel 7 Pro, running Android 15, with App Watcher 1.6.7 whose changelog says "Support for Android 15"
When I launch the app, I get a toast notification saying this -
Please allow access and select an account. This required in order to communicate with Google Play Store.
Clearing app cache didn't help, so I cleared app data, uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Steps afterwards -
- "Choose an account" window pops up. I select one of the two accounts. Tap OK.
- Toast message - "Please allow access and select an account. This required in order to communicate with Google Play Store."
- I see navigation drawer still says "Choose an account".
- I go to settings, enable Google Drive Sync. That opens a different UI of "Choose an account".
- I tap the same Google account as before, it connects and syncs my data.
- I go back to app's home page. It now shows my saved apps. But navigation drawer still says "Choose an account" and the app still doesn't fetch any apps' update log.
Also, the in-app log -

Yes.
Received another update today and now the account choosing sticks. 👍 And a bunch of "watching" apps got their latest changelog fetched too.
Noticed a few issues though -
-
All apps now have only one item in history, even though earlier they had multiple items. For example, I was "watching" Bundled Notes since years and earlier App Watcher had captured a bunch of its changelogs over multiple months. But now it only shows the last one changelog.
- Most probably caused by my clearing the app data and restoring backup via Google Drive sync. I had assumed the backup contains app list and all their changelogs captured so far. But looks like it backs up only the app list. Is that correct? If so, can you please make it so that it backs up saved changelogs too?
-
App Watcher is not fetching the changelogs for several apps, saying "update information is not available." For example - VeSync. The app does have a changelog from 10/15.
But App Watcher says no info available, even after I did "pull to refresh" a few times.
-
And not sure whether this is happening after recent change or whether it was always like this... but now I can't assign tags to on-device apps. The tag button is disabled for those apps.
Try 1.6.9 update and trigger refresh. History is persisted only locally and and not synced anywhere

Thankfully I had a Swift Backup of the app data from a few days ago, and restoring that restored all the old changelog history. Yay! Though I would've loved to see history being part of the Google Drive sync, if possible.
I am a beta tester of this appm will improve this app and I will make new features to this app.
