Extend annotation corners/border

Hi. I'm using Annotorius with OSD. I would like to know if there is a possibility to extend a freehand annotation or any other type using mouse move on click (like a paintbrush).

for example if I have these freehand and polygon annotations as input

after using the paintbrush the result would be

A brush tool, or (internally) raster-based drawing tool has been discussed previously. I'd really like the idea. However, no one has had the bandwidth to pick up this work yet, I'm afraid. If anyone wants to chip in: we can use this issue to discuss possible future functionality!
