gtk 3.20
Ubuntu 16.10 doesn't support gtk3.0 any more, so I update it from Numix-theme.
This creates a light theme with red highlights for me on 16.10. Apart from the stock theme, I only have the Flatabulous and Arc-Flatabulous themes installed. There's no corner rounding, and the window control buttons are too far to the right.
I'm installing by cloning from git into ~/.themes/Flatabulous
and I've logged out between updating the theme and taking this screenshot.
@Faldict This does seem like the right thing to do, however this doesn't most critical problems like checkmarks, padding and this is from the Numix light source, so it messes up the colors completely.
It also uses the Gnome version 3.22 for most apps, so that also needs to be taken into consideration. I'll try and release some updates, to make it usable soon.
Please, add changes to the same PR, if you make any. I'll pull this in once it fixes some of the critical problems, and I'll start from what you have setup. Thanks 👍
Guys, is there any update on the state of compatibility with gtk 3.20?
Some updates will be shipped soon. I haven't had much time to get around this yet, but hopefully this weekend, I'll push some changes.
@anmoljagetia I hope you can update this soon, your theme is missing !
Really love this theme, please update ASAP
Would really love to see this!
@anmoljagetia After more than 1 month since the pr was open, may we have any news about this ?
Please update the theme to Ubuntu 16.10 , I really love it , is the unique one that looks really cool !!!
@flolivaud @AngeloGiuseppe Updates are coming. Just bear with me for a few more days.
I'm gonna add my voice to the others. This is far an away the best-looking theme for Unity, but I can't get it working on Ubuntu 16.10. I eagerly await your update!
just wondering if it'll be updated soon?
I'm going to use the icons first and after this PR is merged, maybe it will fit Ubuntu 16.10 well, and plz don't to forget to fix the ppa installation issue, can't install through apt-get
yet.
@All : Sorry to be a bit late, but thanks for hanging in! Will be rolling out the fix soon.
