Some text contrasts blend too much with background making text not visibile to the eye

Hi cjnolet, have you found out proper way to prevent those cases?

Blending with the background is done by taking max of the gradients of the background and text mask (here).

If you use the gradients just from the text mask, this can be avoided. Although, then the output may not have the "texture" of the background.
