Your library seems to be still quited used and appears quite early in the possible solutions for people looking for bootstrap modal in angular.

However, your library seems to not be maintained, with 40+ issues opened and 6 PR awaiting, many having been written a long time ago.

In order to avoid people using this library without noticing that they won't be able to have long term support maybe it would be about time to mark this library as unmaintained in the README.md

I also had the same problem a long while back so I forked and broke away. The core is similar but I've maintained and extended it - if it's useful for those here looking for something to move to then great. https://github.com/KevCJones/ngx-simple-modal
