The app icon on macOS is not compatible with the new Dark, Clear, or Tinted icon styles; it sticks out. Please fix.

Hi! I'm new to contributing. I'd like to investigate how the macOS app icon is handled and see what would be needed to make it compatible with the Dark, Clear, and Tinted styles. Do you think this is a good beginner-friendly issue to start with?
I'd need to do some research to answer that question :-) If you're keen, please let us know what you find.
Screenshots of the Anki icon in the Dock on my Mac, with different styles applied on macOS 26.0:
?? I'm not sure if I'm seeing anything that really sticks out, except that the Dark icon doesn't seem to be different than the Default icon. The Clear and Tinted versions seem to look okay.
I did a little work converting the Anki app icon into the newer style. I've linked a ".icon" file (Apple's new app icon format replacing .icns) which supports all the new icon styles. Attaching this file type is not supported, so it can be found here on my Google Drive. It can be viewed/edited with apple's new "Icon Composer" app here. I'm not sure how these files can be changed into .icns files or if the app has to be adjusted to accommodate the new format. Hope this possibly helps!
If useful, AnkiDroid uses this for the dark theme colors:
Thanks david-allison, I've updated the version I shared for platform parity
I believe the icon generated by ThankYouButNoThanks can also be used for anki mobile
