(Optional) Anything else you want to share?
When I saw "Hide the system bars" I expected that it would hide only this:
The laziest way to solve the problem would be to simply change the name from "Hide the system bars" to "Hide the top bars"
A better solution would be to give the user the option of what exactly they want to hide

I can look into it
Actually, I think I'll wait for a response from maintainers on this, cuz it sounds like a some kind of feature request
Maintainers Note : Reproduced
This does needs to be addressed. In both screenshot there seems to be some kind of hiding system bar bug here as system bar should have been in blue color for light mode but its showing in black in image below.

@BrayanDSO Hello, you told me (here: https://github.com/ankidroid/Anki-Android/issues/17034) to ping a maintainer in cases like this, but sadly, I'm not sure who a mainter is, so I decided to ping you instead. Hope you don't mind
@Licorioo This is likely no longer an issue using our 'new study screen'. Brayan has put a metric ton of work into it
- Install Parallel.A
- https://github.com/ankidroid/Anki-Android/releases/tag/v2.23.0beta3
- Assets -
AnkiDroid-2.23.0beta3.parallel.A.apk
- Settings - New Study Screen
Please ping me if this is still an issue and we'll get this reopened and looked into
