stops working, and also crashes

When this app is working its great, but I run into 2 issues and I have not been able to reproduce consistently I am on MacBook Pro (16-inch, 2019) Catalina 10.15.6

  1. it suddenly stops changing the brightness. The app icon is still there but it doesnt work. I have to quit and open again for it to start again
  2. often it just crashes (app disappears from menubar)

If there is a way I can send you logs, please let me know.

PS.- I know it would be hard to solve, but the app goes absolutely nuts when there is video on the screen.
