I'm doubtful it'll matter much, but can you test on the latest stable? 1.59.1? Seems like a unicode type issue.

What's the OS? Most people take snapshots if they are doing backups and want a consistent state to start from.
What's the file system underneath though? Can you take a snapshot there? Containerd/Docker will set on top of the OS though so I was trying to understand what it is...

That generally means you have a bad copy on the remote / something didn't work out. Are they older files? Onedrive has some data issues with the API a bit...
