Describe the bug Video playback resets when the screen turns off for a while (10+ minutes)
To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:
- Pause any video (I tested with movies)
- After 10+ Minutes, unlock the screen
- The video starts from beginning instead of the position in which it was paused
Expected behavior The player should remember the position
Device info (please complete the following information):
- Device: Samsung Galaxy Tab A9
- Android version: 14
- App version: 0.14.0
It happened with me,too. But i dont wait so long ,maybe some minutes.
Galaxy A25 ,Android 15 ,OneUI 7.0 ,V0.14.0
Nudged. Toggled the setting off and on again. Doesn't return to previous position if the process gets held or terminated when a user switches to another app or the device is locked.
Galaxy A55 5G
Same thing I noticed happening after the update. It worked fine before.
It just starts the last played videos from beginning instead of where left of last time.

I just checked and there was an update lying around.
I then tested and it seems to be working fine
I did some quick retesting.
The version I can get from Izzydroid (0.14.1 from 3 weeks ago) doesn't save last played.
v0.14.0 (40) from Google Playstore works as expected.
[Beta] v0.14.1 (41) from Google Playstore also works as expected.
Peculiar. The certificate/signing shouldn't interfere with it.
Anil - is there a possible difference between the Izzydroid and Playstore versions? A minor tweak between publications?

I can confirm this has been the case for me. When downloading v14 on the playstore this issue does not occur. However, when downloaded elsewhere (including 14.1) the issue occurs.

Can confirm, beta from playstore fixed the issue for me, version 14.1.
