chips: comma and semicolon separator keys not working on Android

Open grrrian opened this issue 8 years ago • 5 comments

Actual behavior:

  • What is the issue? On Android, md-separator-keys are not triggered when typing comma. Chips are only generated once I tap Enter.
  • What is the expected behavior? On iOS and desktop browsers, commas separate items words in chips.

Angular Versions: *

  • Angular Version: 1.4.8
  • Angular Material Version: 1.0.8

Additional Information:

  • Browser Type: Chrome on HTC Sense 5.5
  • OS: Android 4.4.2

No CodePen example needed. To view this for yourself, simply open the Custom Separator Keys section of https://material.angularjs.org/HEAD/demo/chips on an Android Device
