Breaking up CSS to use less/sass to use color variables from libraries

With libraries such as Bootstrap, the CSS can be overwritten in a consistent manner with the use of less/sass & setting variable values. It would be nice if the CSS in this library was broken up in a similar way so that any colors could get the benefits of the theming capability that less/sass provides to end users.
