Syntax error message doesn't disappear

In some cases the syntax error doesn't disappear anymore. As the screenshot shows I can edit the json in ace which is rendered as a tree on the right, which perfectly works.

If no other people are experiencing this, it has to be a local issue, which I need to investigate further.
