Community Managers
Since this repo isn't being used right now I'm going to put the TODO list here.
To help cleanup the AngularUI Organization I would like to bring on a few volunteer community managers. Please let me know if you're interested in getting involved.
here's the current todolist:
-
Home Page
- [ ] Add logo to home page
- [ ] Add social and resource links
- [ ] Update broken links
- [ ] Update list to related projects
- [ ] Close AngularUI G+ Community
-
AngularUI G+ Page
- [ ] Add members to AngularUI G+ Page Circle as Team Members
- [ ] Fill out profile
- [ ] Perform 'Expand discoverability' feature
- [ ] Add cross linking across resources
- [ ] Add logo to homepages
- AngularUI Google Group to be for announcements / proposals only
- [ ] Remove categories
- [ ] Change group settings
- [ ] Remove unanswered / useless threads and direct the authors to more useful resources if necessary
- Google Summer of Code
- [ ] Have teams fill out Ideas List
- UniBot
- [ ] Find a regular maintainer for UniBot
- [ ] Setup proper hosting for unibot
- [ ] Fix crashing
@angular-ui/community Okay guys, I've added a few people to the Community GH team and those who are interested in being community managers, this todo list is where we can keep track of things I would like to have tackled for the org cleanup.
I'm not going to be assigning any of these tasks, so if you are interested in getting involved go ahead and tackle (or add more) these and ping me if you need help / explanation / whatever.
- [ ] This is getting some sort of SSL error: https://angular-ui.github.io/ui-utils#showhide Need someone to contact Github to figure out what's going on
- [ ] Specify ui-utils/show-hide-toggle as vestigial on home page so we can (eventually remove it)
- [ ] Check all repos for inactivity and try to locate new maintainers by checking for active users or pull requests
- [ ] Contact inactive org members and ask if they would like to be removed from the org to reduce their spam.
Okay. So much for community managers lol
Lol. Don't give up on me yet.
Contact inactive org members and ask if they would like to be removed from the org to reduce their spam.
Was this attempted? How did it go? Are you interested in automating it c.f. https://github.com/coala/coala/issues/3645
@jayvdb doesn't look like they came up with a solution.
I have no solutions for this. I guess you can give up now.

I'm just going through all the org members and anyone who has no github activity or no github activity using angular for the past few years I am just removing. If it's super urgent they can always get re-added.
No problem. Remove me if you want. I’d like to contribute, but my web skills are too outdated.
