moderngl.error.Error: cannot create program

Hi, I tried to use simple-3dviz on mac, but it reported moderngl.error.Error: cannot create program. What should I do to deal with the problem? Thanks.

Hi @tdsuper,

Can you please share the version of moderngl you are using? We have tested simple-3dviz with modergnl version 5.6.4 and it seems to be working fine.

Hi @paschalidoud , thanks for the quick reply.

The environment is python 3.9.7, simple-3dviz 0.5.0, moderngl 5.6.4 and macOS Big Sur 11.6.1.

I have found that the same question was asked on stackoverflow.

Any news on this? I also have the same problem Python 3.8.13 moderngl==5.6.4 simple-3dviz==0.7.0

In my setup, I have the following versions: python=3.8.6, moderngl=5.6.4 and simple-3dviz=0.7.0. Are you trying to run simple-3dviz on a Mac or an Linux machine?

I have the same problem, running on macOS, with Python 3.9.16 simple-3dviz==0.7.0 moderngl==5.7.4
