Apply Article Cards Styling to Divi 100 Day 78 Archives Page Resource

Open xaepstudio opened this issue 8 years ago • 3 comments

Problem:

Is it possible to adjust the styling of the archive article cards (http://www.elegantthemes.com/blog/divi-resources/how-to-give-your-divi-archive-pages-a-masonry-layout) to match the styling of the Divi 100 Article Cards Extension?

The Divi 100 Article Cards Extension provides 1/2 of a great solution (blog index page styling). The Divi Day 78 resource provides the other 1/2 (archives page styling). Unfortunately, the design/styling of the two resources are are completely different/incompatible. Harmonizing the styling of the two resources would provide a complete, well-needed solution.

Is it possible to add the Divi Article Cards styling to the Divi Day 78 resource or vice-versa?

Thanks!

Found a way around this if you're still looking.

Install the Article Cards plugin and then pickup this $17 plugin from ElegantMarketPlace: https://elegantmarketplace.com/downloads/taxonomy-layout-injector/ which allows you to build the taxonomy (or author) archive pages using the Divi Builder.

That plugin adds a "ET Taxonomy Archive (basic)" module you can use on your Archive pages. The module relies on the et_pb_blog module which gets styled by the Article Cards plugin so your archive pages will all have the article cards effect as well.

Hope that helps!

Happy to help! I'm not in love with the fact that I need another plugin on my site to achieve the desired result but it's not the end of the world.
