How much time are we talking about? We have our packages on a network location and it's the primary path in the settings file. Sandbox and Revit Addin load completely...
Oh wow. That sure sounds like a network issue. Definitely anything but an expert in that arena, but have you experimented with different protocols (like e.g. SMB2 vs. SMB3 etc.)?
I find this super annoying as well. I often drop a couple of nodes into a group and want to rearrange them afterwards. Always end up moving the entire group...
I think returning null is fine but the node should not be put in an error state. It's a lot easier catching null values coming from this node than it...

@l-schmidt I can't reproduce this based on your screenshot. Could you transfer the problematic filters to an empty model and post that here? Looking at your Dynamo screenshot I see...

Reworked RoomSeparator node still needs testing. This one also counts towards culling nested TurnIntoList nodes...
