djview4 and Firefox

To configure eab for djview4 Navigation had to be filled with .djvu. Now I see there a comment "This feature does not on Firefox." which seems to be true (the comment was introduced in the commit d16cb809 on Oct 16, 2022 with the title "updating icon" but without specifying the reason). What is the problem and how can it be corrected or circumvented? Version 0.4.2 works with djview4 (although with some problems which I just noticed). Is there an easy way to install it instead of the current one?
