Categorization of tasks with no date/time

Open shompoe opened this issue 4 years ago • 2 comments

Hi,

At the moment we have an option to configure where tasks with no date are displayed. Eg. Today or end of the list. But regardless of this setting, they are always shaded and colored as per future event settings.

If the setting is used to display these tasks under 'today', could they be shaded and colored as per today event settings? Meaning that it is a task to complete today, but only if convenient and possible. Otherwise just keep 'rescheduling' for the next day until I'm in a position to complete it.

@shompoe Thank you for the suggestion! Re-reading https://github.com/andstatus/todoagenda/issues/4 I cannot understand/remember why I decided to color such tasks as "future events" in the first place...

Looking at this again I understand, why it is good for a task without start and due dates, even if it is shown Today, to have "future" color:

  • to clearly differ from other Today's events.

If you really want to reschedule today's task each day: just make it explicit by setting its start or due date. And it will have a color of Today ?!
