Logstash `6.8.11` doesn't start if it started from a symbolic link

I've tested with Logstash `7.17.5` and the problem doesn't appear. Logstash `6.8.x` [EOLed](https://www.elastic.co/support/eol) on 2022-02-10 when `8.0.0` was released. So I think we could close this issue. /cc @roaksoax
